This is a very popular trim-type pleco with a wild leopard-like body color and vibrant orange fins. The fins have strong coloration, and it is an attractive species that becomes more impressive and imposing as it grows. It goes well with driftwood and rock layouts and can be enjoyed as the main attraction in a bottom-dwelling aquarium. It is somewhat territorial, but if the environment is right, it is a highly collectible pleco that can be kept for a long time.
