This hybrid individual is attractive for its beautiful spot pattern and rounded disc.
Many individuals inherit the best characteristics of their parent species, and there are individual differences in the contrast of body color and the way the spots are placed, making it a popular species with high collectibility. Its graceful swimming motion along the bottom makes it an outstanding centerpiece for large aquariums.
■ Maximum size: Approximately 60-70 cm (disc diameter)
■ Water temperature: 26-30℃
■ Water quality: Slightly acidic to neutral (prefers soft water)
■ Temperament: Relatively gentle, but will prey on fish that fit in its mouth, so be careful of size when keeping with other fish
