This popular species is very striking with its fine black spots on a gray background and the large, spreading dorsal and caudal fin dot patterns. As it grows, its fins become more impressive, giving it an outstanding presence in the aquarium. It goes well with driftwood and rock layouts, and is a highly collectible fish that pleco lovers will adore.
