Its body color, featuring fine gray mottling, provides excellent camouflage on the sandy bottom, making it difficult to spot. It spends its time quietly on the bottom, but has a surprising side: it moves quickly during feeding times, making it a very unique and adorable species to observe. It's
also easy to breed in an aquarium, making it a great choice for those aiming to breed freshwater flounders.

① Regarding the Dead on Arrival Guarantee
: Our store offers a dead on arrival guarantee only if all of the following conditions are met.
The guarantee will consist of a refund of the animal's purchase price or an exchange for a replacement animal (if available). Please note that even if various fees are incurred related to receiving or purchasing the animal, the guarantee is limited to the cost of the animal.

(1) The dead on arrival guarantee is limited to deliveries to areas where delivery can be made by the morning of the day after the shipping date.
Example: If shipped on January 1st, arrive by the morning of January 2nd.
*Delivery dates and times are subject to Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. regulations. We cannot provide compensation for delivery delays due to weather, disasters, traffic conditions, etc., resulting in arrival outside the guaranteed time frame.
(2) Please check the contents immediately after receiving the package. If the animal is dead, please contact us without opening the packaging.
(3) Please take a photo that clearly shows the animal is dead and send it to us by email.

② Guarantee for Injuries and Illnesses
: We pay close attention to the health of our fish and sell them in the best possible condition. However, since it is difficult to verify the onset of illness, injury, or congenital abnormalities after sale, we cannot guarantee these conditions. Furthermore, fin tears and body deformities seen in wild fish (fish collected locally) are not covered by the warranty.

③ Guarantee for Sexing:
We cannot guarantee sexing except for fish sold as a pair. While we sell fish with a high probability of being able to be sexed, please note that this cannot be guaranteed with 100% accuracy.

④ Other Notes
: We do not accept cancellations or refunds for customer reasons after payment has been made.
If the fish dies before shipping, we will refund the purchase price via bank transfer.
However, we cannot guarantee any expenses beyond the purchase price (such as transportation costs and lost time).
