This small polypterus lives in the Congo River basin. It is characterized by its rounded head and gentle personality. It is an extremely beautiful small species that develops a strong green sheen when kept in captivity.
It is an easy-to-raise size of approximately 15-20cm. It is highly carnivorous and easily adapts to frozen food and artificial feed, but please avoid keeping it with fish that can fit in its mouth. A spacious aquarium with a secure lid is required.
