). This is an albino specimen of the popular large silver arowana. Its translucent pale gold-to-cream body color and beautiful reddish fin gradation make it a striking presence in the aquarium. At approximately 17cm, it has a stable body shape and will become even more impressive in the future.
It is easy to adapt to artificial and frozen food and is relatively hardy in captivity, but its rapid growth will require a larger aquarium in the future. Its strong jumping ability means a lid is essential. It will prey on fish large enough to fit in its mouth, so choose your tank mates carefully.
