including tax) This knifefish is a member of the knifefish family, attractive for its slender body and unique swimming style. Its subdued brown body color is beautifully accented with subtle spots, and its size and presence increase as it grows. While reminiscent of an arowana, this unique species boasts the graceful swimming style characteristic of knifefish.
It tends to be nocturnal and somewhat timid, so providing a hiding place is recommended. It is highly carnivorous, so avoid keeping it with smaller fish. While it easily adapts to artificial and frozen food, it tends to respond better to live food initially. Maintaining stable water quality and a spacious aquarium allows it to fully unleash its true potential.
