Compared to the typical Senegalus, it features a slightly slender and sharp body shape, and its pale beige to grayish body coloring creates a calming atmosphere. At approximately 15cm, it has a stable feeding pattern, making it a recommended specimen for captivity. It
is a hardy and easy-to-care-for species that easily adapts to artificial and frozen food, but due to its carnivorous nature, it should not be kept with fish that can fit in its mouth. It has a strong bottom-dwelling tendency, so a comfortable layout will help it thrive. A lid is essential.
