This beautiful, improved and expressive Kotai has countless shiny spots scattered along its body that sparkle like stardust. Depending on the viewing angle and lighting, you can enjoy its sparkling silver and blue coloring, and it makes a strong presence even in a simple layout. Its slender body and long dorsal fin, characteristic of Kotai, are also attractive, and the density and brilliance of the pattern increases as it grows.
It has a relatively docile personality, and can be kept alone or with fish of a similar size, but please avoid housing it with small fish that can fit into its mouth. It easily adapts to artificial feed, is hardy, and is a species that can be enjoyed with peace of mind.
