At approximately 23cm, it boasts impressive body height and bulging fins, making it a striking presence. Because of its tendency to nibble on driftwood, adding some driftwood to your layout will help maintain its condition.
Its diet is primarily composed of sinking pleco food and plant-based foods, and it also enjoys frozen food and shrimp. While relatively gentle, it can sometimes fight with other plecos of the same species or similar sizes, so it is recommended to provide plenty of hiding places when keeping them together.
