tax). This is an albino specimen of the popular "King Royal Pecholetia." Its pale gold body color and the beautiful fine stripes on its dorsal and caudal fins give it a presence that sets it apart from normal specimens. At approximately 10cm, it's a solid specimen that will be exciting to watch grow.
While relatively docile, it does occasionally engage in skirmishes with other plecos of the same species or similar body types. Providing multiple driftwood and shelters to provide hiding places helps keep it calm.
Albino specimens can be sensitive to strong light, so we recommend keeping them in a comfortable environment with plenty of hiding places.
