including tax) This large, impressive pleco features a jet-black body and sharp, elongated fins. Even at its small size, its rugged surface is noticeably rugged, and as it grows, its appearance becomes even more substantial. Its wild appearance makes it a must-have for pleco lovers.
Its somewhat aggressive nature can lead to skirmishes with its own species or similar-sized bottom-dwelling creatures. Providing ample driftwood and shelters to provide hiding places helps it settle down. It adapts easily to artificial diets, consuming a wide range of foods, including sinking tablets, pleco food, and frozen food.
Because it grows quite large, we recommend a spacious aquarium size for long-term care.
