(including tax) The Stewart Snakehead is a stately snakehead with a calm gray to olive body color and fine spots all over its body. While it does not have a flashy color, as it matures it grows in height and thickness, impressing with its texture and power, making it a species of "connoisseur's favorite."
Its dorsal and anal fins are long, giving it an extremely powerful silhouette. It often rests quietly on the bottom of the aquarium, but its occasional swimming appearance is a striking sight.
