Females have a large carapace and grow to a considerable size, making them very impressive
They live near rivers and sometimes swim there
They are very sensitive to dehydration, so it is recommended to keep them in an environment where the bedding is well-watered. If the bedding is too moist, the environment will deteriorate due to food scraps and excrement, so frequent bedding changes are necessary
They are extremely aggressive and highly poisonous so please handle with care
