(including tax) The Silver Arowana is a large, ancient fish representative of South America. Its slender, streamlined body and metallic silvery sheen make it the "king of the aquarium" as it gracefully swims near the water's surface. Its large, well-developed pectoral fins and long barbels create a commanding presence.
It grows quickly, eventually reaching approximately 60-80cm, requiring a large aquarium. However, it is hardy and feeds well, making it relatively easy to care for among arowanas. It easily adapts to artificial feed, making it a popular entry-level species for large fish breeders.
