Type: Armored Moth Cockroach
Characteristics: They feature armor-like dorsal plates covering their entire body and a rounded body shape. Their glossy, dark-brown body color gives them a very substantial appearance, as can be seen in the photo. Their behavior, which seems to harden in response to external stimuli, makes them a fascinating subject to observe.
Environment: Use a moderately moist soil-based mat as the substrate, providing an environment where they can burrow. Be careful not to let it dry out too much, and ensure good ventilation.
Temperature control: Because they prefer relatively high temperatures, it is ideal to maintain a stable temperature throughout the year.
Feeding: Feed them mainly plant-based foods in a balanced manner, while monitoring their condition.
