This is a Surinamese diamondback pike, and this was the first time I'd seen one of these tiny ones, so I was intrigued and decided to buy one.
Even though it's small, it's a well-defined specimen.
I had hoped to purchase a pair, but I only received the one shown in the photo.

We offer a dead on arrival guarantee. This guarantee is only available if you select the shortest arrival time (morning arrival). The dead on arrival guarantee does not apply to areas requiring more than two days for shipping. Please inspect the contents of the live animal immediately upon arrival, and if it arrives dead, please contact us without opening the packing bag. Please note that opening the packing bag voids the guarantee. Please attach a photo to your email and we will provide a replacement or refund upon confirmation. If we cannot confirm the dead fish from the photos, we may have to return the live fish. We will cover the return shipping costs. Thank you for your understanding. This is to prevent fraudulent dead on arrival. Please note that we cannot guarantee the sex of wild fish, and slight fin tears may occur, and we cannot guarantee the sex of fish unless sold as a pair. Even for animals sold as pairs, if we are unable to confirm that they are a pair, we will list them as a "Maybe Pair." Please refrain from canceling your order for personal reasons, as this will inconvenience other customers. If you cancel, we will not accept future orders.
