We've received our first Surinamese Piram Turba this season!
Perhaps because it's now protected, it's almost never imported outside of Suriname.
Despite its difficulty to obtain, it's easy to raise and, like the Piraiba, its snout doesn't easily get crushed, so we highly recommend it for lovers.

[About the Dead on Arrival Guarantee]

We offer a dead on arrival guarantee. This guarantee is only available for orders with the shortest delivery time (morning arrival). This guarantee does not apply to destinations requiring more than two days for shipping. Please inspect the contents of your shipment promptly upon arrival. If the item is dead on arrival, please contact us immediately without opening the packaging. Please note that opening the packaging voids the guarantee. Please attach a photo by email and we will provide a replacement or refund upon confirmation. If we are unable to confirm the item is dead based on the photos, we may have to return the item. We will cover the return shipping costs. Thank you for your understanding. Please note that we cannot guarantee the sex of wild specimens, and we cannot guarantee the fin splits or the sex of specimens sold as pairs. Even for live fish sold as pairs, if we are unable to confirm the pairing, we will sell them as a "maybe pair." Please refrain from canceling your order for personal reasons, as this will inconvenience other customers. If you cancel, we will not accept future orders.
